Trader Joe’s Turkey Meatballs- YUM!
This great product, Trader Joe’s Turkey Meatballs was recommended to us by a friend. I mentioned that I spotted them one day in the freezer case and wondered if she had tried them. I mean, how convenient is a fully cooked and flame broiled bag of turkey meatballs in your freezer, right?
Well, she just LOVES them and started to rattle of f the many ways that she uses them (with pasta and sauce and also for a meatball sandwich during football games). But she said that the real reason she loves them, is that her two year old gobbles them up for dinner. She just thaws up one or two meatballs and adds them to the “finger- friendly” assortment of food for her toddler.
OK so if they are given the “rubber stamp” from these two, we knew we had to give them a try.
Bottom line? Our friend was right- these are delicious and convenient to have around the house. They thaw up quickly and make a great addition to jazz up you meals.
These are the ways we have served them up:
- With Marinara sauce over pasta
- With BBQ sauce, coleslaw and oven frys
- With Mashed potatoes and steamed veggies.
- With mushroom sauce, rice and vegetables
We hope you like these ideas and find your own ways to enjoy these no-work, great tasting Trader Joe’s Turkey Meatballs. We also like the fact that they are so economical. I mean you are getting a full pound of cooked meatballs (no shrinkage here from cooking) and the price just can’t be beat for ground turkey. Check them out next time you are at Trader Joe’s

My local TJ was out of gyro meat so this was my substitute! I steamed them in the microwave with lemon juice, olive oil and oregano and topped them with homemade tzaziki, tomatoes and feta. DO THIS.
Great idea!! Thanks for the tips!
